Beschreibung:

Keeping your information safe, secure, and always available when you want it are among our highest priorities at Google. Eric Grosse has led a team of 500+ Google security and privacy engineers. His team’s accomplishments include improved and wider use of network encryption, stronger consumer authentication technology, detection and blocking of foreign espionage, transparency on government request for data, sophisticated malware analysis, tools and frameworks for safer building of web applications.

Eric and Jillian will talk about encryption at scale, about former and current threat actors or threat models and how Google reacts to them. They will discuss the “war on passwords” and what dissidents or even small companies can do to practically keep their information secure.
