As Senior Manager and Head of Corporate Affairs Berlin Office, Steffen Ganders oversees SEG’s government relations as well as the development and implementation of SEG’s overall governmental strategy in Germany. Steffen has been in leadership roles for Samsung for several years. As a Senior Business Development Manager, he was responsible for the strategic development of cross-divisional projects, where he identified and evaluated diverse concepts covering a wide range of technologies and industries, such as healthcare, logistics and digital education. He also developed strategic concepts that aimed to support entrepreneurs and start-ups. Steffen has a strong passion for social projects regarding digital education. He provided meaningful guidance for the development of SEG’s CSR engagements. For example, he was involved in conceptualizing and operationalizing the Corporate Citizenship “Initiative Rethinking Digital Education”, which was launched in 2013 and aims to open up a variety of digital options for students through fostering digital competencies. Steffen is a member of the European Learning Industry Group Board (ELIG.org) and also serves as a jury member of the “Code Week Award”, which is financially supported by SEG.
