I am a physicist turned McKinsey consultant turned entrepreneur. During my PhD I worked on cell division and cell motility, i.e. approached ‘biological questions’ using the physics tool box. Working for McKinsey we e.g., used digital technologies to build the first ever payment system for microfinance organizations in Ethiopia. Back in Europe I co-founded payleven, a payment system that allows small merchants to accept card payments using their smartphone. After running Zalando's pricing department for 2 years I have decided to take on a new challenge in building the Techstars METRO Accelerator for Hospitality and Food Tech here in Berlin.
