I do research in computational astrophysics, high performance computing, and big data visualization. I'm primarily interested in the gravitational force, which I consider the most beautiful and mysterious of all of nature's fundamental forces. In February 2015 I began a postdoc in theoretical physics at Caltech; I now live and work out of Los Angeles, California.

In my free time in the past, I have done a lot of open source and mobile application development oriented around technical activism, gender based violence and social justice, including major contributions to the Signal, Circle of 6, and Encyclopedia Android/iOS applications.
