Online privacy has recently become a relevant concern for the internet user that includes security, information censorship, and freedom of speech. A DIY implementation of a network wide TOR tunnel using the Rasberry Pi can help expose non-engineers to the low level details of how an internet session is vulnerable to eavesdropping and what options there are to secure it.

During this workshop session, the audience will be led through a the step-by-step process of configuring a Rasberry Pi B+ as a DIY Wi-Fi router and subsequently configured to support TOR tunneling. At the end of the workshop, a demonstration of a secure TOR session will be established using the device.
