Alexander Gerst is a European Space Agency (ESA) astronaut who participated a flight to the International Space Station in May 2014. Alexander has spend six months on the ISS for ESA’s Blue Dot mission. He was the third German to visit the ISS. Alexander is a geophysicist and a volcanologist.
