True to their motto, "All For Water, Water For All", the mineral water brand Viva con Agua shows how a social business model is put into practice. Viva con Agua is also coming to re:publica – help us and have a drink!
"We all buy what we need. And we all need water", Poetry Slammer Sebastian23 says in a side thought in one of his texts. True, we thought, and got Viva con Agua from Hamburg on board for this year’s re:publica.
Of course, they want no less than to change the world. Notable about these manufacturers of bottled water is indeed their social business model. The enterprise is committed to improving access to drinking water and basic sanitation in developing countries. Viva con Agua specifically directs some of its earnings from selling bottled water into WASH (Water, Sanitation, Hygiene) projects around the world. The network surrounding Viva con Agua originates from a training camp that the Hamburg football club FC St. Pauli held in Cuba.
We are convinced, and looking forward to working with them. During re:publica, all beverage shops at the STATION-Berlin will offer Viva con Agua mineral water. The idea is that you support a good cause simply by your water purchase.
