Happy New Year once again! We hope that you have all had a good start into 2015, and we are pleased to announce this special collaboration right at the beginning of the year: Initiated by all2gethernow, the Berlin Music Commission, and the Xjazz Festival, the re:publica Music Day 2015 will be one of the central events of #rp15.
Thursday, May 7th, 2015 is already reserved for this new meeting of the music industry. With this special focus topic, we want to support the national and international exchange of the music business. One important aspect will be the issue of music and startups, but other recent developments in the scene are sure to feature as well.
The re:publica Music Day also serves as a prelude to the Xjazz Festival, which will take place from May 7 to May 10. Xjazz is Berlin’s largest jazz festival, now in its second edition in 2015. 75 percent of the performing musicians come from Berlin, so the festival is also a showcase for Berlin’s vibrant music scene. The Music Day at #rp15 will consist of short lectures and presentations, discussion sessions and performances for professionals from the music industry and everyone interested.
Join in and apply for the Music Day with your story, project or startup if it’s all about the music! The deadline is January 31, 2015. For more information on applying, look up our Call For Papers page.
